​The Best Jacobs Graduate Student Council Award (2019)

I have recognized  as an exceptional graduate student due to significant contribution to the school of the engineering  at UCSD. I have gotten this award due to my contribution to school of engineering for published several papers, mentoring numerous number of graduate and undergraduate students, supporting under representative students, and my contrition to several grants funded at UCSD. 

Best Paper Nomination Award at Multiple Conferences

I was honored to receive the best paper nomination award at multiple conferences including the 2019 IEEE/ACM Design Automation Conference (DAC), the 2018 International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ISQED), and the 2016 IEEE International Conference on Computer Design (ICCD). Paper title: 
  • DAC 2019: BRIC: Locality-based Encoding for Energy-Efficient Brain-Inspired Hyperdimensional Computing
  • ISQED 2018: LUPIS : Latch-Up Based Ultra Efficient Processing In-Memory System
  • ICCD 2016: Resistive CAM Acceleration for Tunable Approximate Computing

Best Poster Award (Ranked 1st), PhD Forum, Design Automation Conference (DAC)

The Ph.D. Forum at the Design Automation Conference is a poster session hosted by ACM SIGDA and IEEE CEDA for Ph.D. students to present and discuss their dissertation research with people in the EDA community. Participation in the forum is competitive with an acceptance rate of around 30%. Among 80 Ph.D. students who selected to present their work, my research has been selected as the first rank poster in DAC 2019.

Doctoral Award for Excellence in Research (2018)

I received the best PhD student award at Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department at UC San Diego. This award is given to my contribution to UCSD including over 70 publications at top tier conferences and journals, mentoring over 15 grad/undergrad students, and my contribution to undergraduate research at UC San Diego.
